We are fun, Cool, adventurous and nature lovers. We BELIEVE in tomorrow but we live in the PRESENT. We are a new local sunglass brand envisioned in Playa Negra, Costa Rica. We want you to be able to give your eyesight  the protection it needs at an honest price. We also aspire to help the world starting with our pura vida community.

I live in a quaint little surf village called Los Pargos - Playa Negra, this is our Community.
I am a peruvian artist and surfer who has been living and loving here for more than 20 years. Costa Rica is sunny all year round and we are exposed to its  blazing rays 365 days a year. We use sunblocks, hats, long sleeves, but what about our eyes? They need protection and not only from the sun; also from the dust, bugs, branches. Well...I live kind of in the wild.  And this got me going cause  not only the ones in the wild need sunglasses.

The SOS adventure began after my eyes suffered injuries caused by the sun.

I started researching sunglasses, lenses, treatments, protections, materials, manufacturers and realized it was possible to have great protection at a true price. 

I was spending so much on sunglasses having to replace them  because I would sit on them, loose them, scratch them or have my dogs give them a bite or two.  Been there?

Now you dont need to pay loads for a great pair of shades. We offer you polarized and UV sunglasses for every mood and every occasion. Some of our models are entirely manufactured  with recycled plastic bottles, others are made of wheat straw and some out of acetate , which is a plant based synthetic fiber. Our packaging and displays are also sustainable. So you can feel proud to be part of the change.

We can make a huge impact, one SOS at a time.
